What a Month!

The month of madness has finally come to an end. Since my last post, we were getting ready for our Youth Camp (scheduled for June 10th-14th), but at the last minute had to reschedule because the previous week had to close down early due to a virus outbreak. That gave me a few extra days to get ready for the next events. Jr. Impact began on the 15th and ran through the morning of the 18th. Sr. Impact began on the afternoon of the 18th and ran through the 23rd. We had to leave early from Sr. Impact to go on our Mexico Mission Trip that began when I woke up at 11:30pm to leave at 1:30am on the 22nd and ended when we returned at 3:00am on Saturday morning the 30th. Later that afternoon I had to go pick up Sarah at the airport in Nashville (she had spent the week bringing Jude to all of her side of the family in Texas). Sarah's flight was delayed for two hours, so between that and a 6 hour roundtrip we didn't get back home with Sarah's cousin and his wife (who happened to be travelling in TN) until 1:30am. Later that morning I led worship at our church and then our rescheduled week of camp began that afternoon. Camp ended Thursday the 5th and Mom arrived on Saturday the 7th. We have a few smaller trips left this summer but for the most part, I can start to recover and reacquaint myself with my wife and baby boy. God has been good to us through it all, and we have seen him work in mighty ways, but now I am ready for that gentle whispering aspect of God.
