Still Kickin'

Last week we went to Memphis for a Drug Proof Your Kids facilitator training session.

After our session on Thursday, we were able to enjoy a truly magical moment on Beale Street.

We ate dinner at BB King's Blues Club, then mozied down to where they were having a Blues Festival. There was this band that was pouring out their soul and letting it waft down the street. We pulled up the stroller and listened for a while. It was the kind of music that brings tears to your eyes if you aren't careful. I had Sarah on my arm and Jude in the stroller.

It is moments like that when you experience the pure joy of being alive.

Music is one of God's best gifts to the world. It is right up there with Color, thunderstorms, and Jude.

I cant imagine a world without music, color, and thunderstorms, I think it would be like a Church of Christ auditorium in Southern California.

What a great night. Jude looks like some kind of coyboy merman. Thanks for the update and featuring my guy.

If you don't update your blog more often you will have to change the name to Drew's Every-Once-In-A-While Adventure.
